Meet your herbalist.
Hi, I’m Liz! I’m a farmer turned medicine maker, turned clinical herbalist & herbal educator. My passion for herbal medicine is rooted in art and agency. Keep reading to learn more about me!
✿ I am a certified clinical herbalist and clinical nutritionist with over three years of experience delivering individualized, effective wellness and nutrition protocols to help address both chronic and acute health complaints.
✿ My love of plants and plant medicine was born in my backyard in the Midwest. Slowly, I learned from and about the plants through the practices of medicine-making, foraging and farming.
✿ I completed my certifications in both clinical herbalism and holistic nutrition at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism in early 2020. Through my academic training, I have completed over 1,500 hours of classroom study in subjects like: anatomy and physiology, field botany and plant ID, phytochemistry, holistic nutrition, herbal formulation, medicine making, clinical skills and more.
✿ Accessibility is central to my personal herbal philosophy. I'm a big fan of doing what you can and using what you have. I value thrift, ingenuity, and creativity. I will work with you to find accessible health solutions that fit your unique needs, means and lifestyle.
✿ I am passionate about sharing valuable information about human-plant relationships that fosters resilience in individuals and communities alike. Teaching is my favorite way to share herbalism with others!
Philosophy of Care

✿ I value efficiency and efficacy in my practice. I don’t use a fancy formula or complex protocol when one herb or one simple change will do.
✿ I appreciate thrift and accessibility in my protocol creation. Expect to receive a personalized protocol that feels do-able and sustainable for your lifestyle.
✿ I aim to offer a safe and comfortable environment for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community members, and folks of all ages and abilities.
